Branding for Success – by George Luis

Pay Homage to sporting cover; Muhammed Ali by this fantastic Design guru– George Luis. What I like about him the most, is he is straight talking no bullshit. Greek born, he was hailed the most influential and iconic Advertisers of the 20th Century. George has certainly left his impression of the visual language of brands to include; MTV, Esquire, ESPN, VH1 and was the reason why we identified and recognise Tommy Hilfiger.

“In the act of creativity, being careful guarantees sameness and mediocrity, which means your work will be invisible. Better to be reckless than careful. Better to be bold than safe. Better to have your work seen and remembered, or you’ve struck out. There is no middle ground.”- George Luis

An understanding of design principles, insightfully orchestrated to collaborate within any given industry, design brief and market goals. That has been our ethos from day one at Yu. There is no style. “Design is History”.– George Lois
